Résumé
L’innovation sociale (IS) et l’innovation responsable (IR) font l’objet d’une littérature variée et abondante en sciences humaines et sociales. Les deux notions sont comparées depuis peu, mais on les confond encore, rendant leur interprétation non stabilisée. À travers les structures de l’Economie Sociale et Solidaire (ESS), nous les confrontons sous le prisme de ces organisations. Par l’analyse de verbatim sur 12 structures de l’ESS dans une région rurale et oasienne tunisienne, nos résultats démontrent la présence d’IR, marquée à la fois par le produit ou service proposés et les impacts environnementaux recherchés. Dans nos conclusions, l’IR demeure présente au sein de ces organisations, dans une forme plus informelle et moins structurée, mais tout autant représentative.
Abstract
The articulation of social innovation (SI) and responsible innovation (RI) by the structures of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) in Tunisian oasis context
Social innovation (SI) and responsible innovation (RI) are the subject of varied and abundant literature in the human and social sciences. The two notions have recently been compared, but they are still confused, making their interpretation unsettled. Through the structures of the Social Solidarity Economy (SSE), we compare them under the prism of these organizations. While the link between the SSE and the SI no longer needs to be demonstrated, the link between the SSE and the IR has not been formally established. By analyzing the verbatim accounts of 12 SSE structures in a rural oasis region of Tunisia, our results demonstrate the presence of RI, marked both by the product or service offered and the environmental impacts sought. While RI is more often mobilized around work devoted to technological innovation, in our conclusions it remains present within these organizations, in a more informal and less structured form, but just as representative.
