Résumé
La dynamique concurrentielle, centrée sur des interactions concurrentielles inter-entreprises, semble dominée par une lecture organisationnelle et rationnelle consubstantielle à son développement théorique. Or, nos résultats issus d’entretiens avec des dirigeants de clubs de football professionnels en France révèlent l’importance des dynamiques interpersonnelles. Cela nous conduit à proposer une reconceptualisation du champ intégrant l’interaction humaine, articulant niveau individuel et rôle de l’acteur.

Abstract
Competitive dynamics with a human face: The case of French professional soccer club managers
Competitive dynamics, centered on competitive interactions between companies, seem to be dominated by an organizational and rational interpretation that is inherent to their theoretical development. However, our findings from interviews with managers of professional soccer clubs in France reveal the importance of interpersonal dynamics. This leads us to propose a reconceptualization of the field that integrates human interaction, linking the individual level and the role of the actor.
