Résumé
L’article propose une compréhension renouvelée de l’equity crowdfunding au-delà de sa définition comme mécanisme d’intermédiation numérique. À partir d’une analyse longitudinale des discours d’acteurs du secteur, il met en évidence des registres discursifs structurant sa légitimation. Il souligne la dimension hybride et transformative de ce mode de financement et propose une définition enrichie comme levier d’impact sociétal.

Abstract
Funding for transformation: Equity crowdfunding as a lever for social impact
The article offers a renewed understanding of equity crowdfunding beyond its definition as a digital intermediation mechanism. Drawing on the longitudinal analysis of the discourse of sector actors, it highlights the discursive registers that structure its legitimation. It emphasizes the hybrid and transformative nature of this mode of financing and proposes an expanded definition of it as a lever for societal impact.
